Dr. Benhuri graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine; also he received his specialty in Prosthodontics at Pittsburgh in 1975. Dr.Benhuri has been involved in the research and development of Dental Implants since 1971. He is fellow of American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), he is also former President of AAID for North East and member of Executive Committee for 14 years and former editor of Journal of Implant Dentistry. Dr.Benhuri served as Clinical Professor of Prosthodontics until 2004 at University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine; he did research on unknown pain in Head & Neck and Tempromandibular Joint Dysfunction. Dr.Benhuri wrote many scientific research papers on Implant Dentistry and TMJ Dysfunction. He is a fellow and Diplomat of International Congress of Oral Implantology. He lectured all over the world for the last 30 years. His Specialty includes Esthetic, Prosthodontic, Restorative, Implant & Laser including Biological Dentistry. Dr.Benhuri annually attended American Academy of Implant Dentistry, American Academy of Laser Dentistry and New York Dental Society. When asked about his work he will tell you that it's not just about restoring function but also natural beauty.

Mrs. Carol Schwartz
Registered Dental Hygienist

Mrs. Carol Schwartz has been an employee with Dr. Benhuri's Practice since 1989.

Ms. Schwartz is a licensed Dental Hygienist with over 36 years of experience. Ms. Schwartz when asked, will tell you the reason she chose her profession as a dental hygienist is the enjoyment she gets in discussing health issues with patients and helping them realize that the mouth is the primary organ of health. She is very friendly and will answer any question you may have regarding your own personal dental hygiene. Ms. Schwartz is a member of The Dental Hygienist Association of the City of New York. When not practicing Dentistry, Ms. Schwartz is a volunteer for American Dental Organization in Israel.

Dinely A. Colon
Registered Dental Assistant

Ms. Colon is an experienced Registered Dental Assistant, she has over 7 years of experience in the field of dentistry. Ms.Colon is fluent in English and Spanish and has a very friendly personality! Her levels of expertise include the assistance of Implant Surgery, Periodontal Surgery, Dental Reconstruction, Root Canal Therapy and Dental Composite Reconstruction.

Boris Abayev
Master Dental Technician

Our Master Dental Technician is Mr. Boris Abayev, MDT who was certified in restoring implants by the Institute of Oral Implantologie in Germany. With techniques in advanced ceramics and sub-structure design, he achieved a level that was recognizd by many in the industry. Perfecting the art of restorative dentistry was the mission. Whether it be crowns, bridges, implants, dentures or cosmetic dentistry, it is Boris' and his son David's specialty. Boris is fluent in English, Russian, Hebrew and Farsi.

David Abayev
Dental Technician

David Abayev is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and has served as the Executive Coordinator on the Scientific Committee of the World Congress for Oral Implantology. Trained under his fathers direction over the years David has been actively involved in implant restoration and cosmetic dentistry.

Heather Fiore
Office Manager

Heather has been in dentistry for close to ten years. She started as a dental assistant and then decided that working at the front desk was more enjoyable for her. She is a single mother of a beautiful daughter, Briana. In addition to being an office manager and dental assistant, she obtained a cosmetology license from Long Island Beauty School. She prides herself on patient satisfaction, and is knowledgeable with most insurance companies. Heather is here to answer any questions or concerns you may have.
